The Partners
Nevil Edmund Croston
Senior Partner, Solicitor and head of the firm's civil litigation department. With more than 25 years of litigation experience Nevil offers practical and professional advice on employment law, personal injury, partnership and company formations and dissolution, drafting of commercial contracts and grants and contentious probate. Nevil is a member of the association of personal injury lawyers and an accredited civil mediator. He is also audit committee chair for a large further education college. Nevil is married with two adult children. Outside of work Nevil enjoys all outdoor pursuits including mountaineering, cycling, walking and taking skiing holidays.

Angela Donen
Solicitor and head of the firm's family law team, Angela joined Bryan & Armstrong in 1983 and has built up a strong reputation offering expert advice in family law related matters including divorce, complex financial family cases and children cases. She is a collaborative lawyer and an experienced family law mediator. Angela is married with two adult children. She enjoys keeping fit by swimming, jogging and taking walking holidays.

Susan Harrison
Managing partner, Solicitor and head of the firm's property and private client departments. Susan joined the firm in 1993 as a trainee before progressing and qualifying as a Solicitor. Susan offers specialist advice in commercial and residential property services for individuals, businesses and charities, covering the preparation and negotiation of leases (both for landlord and tenants) to commercial acquisitions such as pubs, restaurants, shops, industrial units and warehouses and even one time a bridge! She also acts on the acquisition and disposal of land for large-scale commercial projects. Susan is married with two adult children and has lived locally all of her life. She is a trustee of a local charity, enjoys taking family holidays, cooking, walking and gardening.

Mary Dixon
Mary is a solicitor specialising in criminal defence work - both legally aided and private client. She is a duty solicitor and has considerable experience representing both adults and youths at the police station and magistrates courts; she also prepares and manages Crown Court cases. Both she and Chris Perry ensure that the Criminal Department are on call 24 hours a day every day of the year for those arrested and interviewed by the police, or appearing in court. Mary was also a member of the Law Society Mental Health Panel for many years providing a wealth of experience to be used when she represents vulnerable clients, or those with mental health problems.She is a keen swimmer, loves cricket and is an avid supporter of a local Championship football team (which shall remain nameless!).

Chris Perry
Chris qualified as a Solicitor in 1998 and is also a partner in the firm's criminal defence department. Chris has built up a strong reputation for criminal defence representation, not just in Mansfield, but nationwide. He is a qualified duty solicitor and a highly persuasive advocate who prepares well for all his cases. Whether you require assistance in the police station or at Court, Chris can help.

Paul Bacon
Solicitor and former president of Nottingham law society. Having originally come to work for the firm during his summer holidays, Mr Armstrong extended Paul's stay at the firm where he was employed as an articled clerk before progressing and qualifying as a Solicitor. Paul rose to the heights of senior partner of the firm and built up a strong reputation for Criminal and Mental Health representation. He is a member of Specialist Criminal and Mental Health Panels. He has special expertise in serious crime, mental health law and company law. Paul retired in 2008 and continues to act as a consultant to the firm. He is married with three adult children and enjoys family holidays and walking.

Catherine Walker
Catherine is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives. She has a wealth of over twenty years experience in dealing with private client law related matters. She has built a strong reputation in the Mansfield and surrounding areas for sound expert advice on wills, probate, tax planning and trust matters. She has a particular interest in contentious probate. She is well respected by local members of the profession and clients alike for offering a sympathetic yet common sense approach to her work. Catherine is a keen supporter of her husbands cricket team, enjoys spending time with her family and taking family holidays.

Jennifer McGinn
Jenny has been working in family law since 2006 and qualified as a solicitor in 2008. She is experienced in dealing with all aspects of family law, particularly cases involving children. Outside of work Jenny enjoys socialising with friends and family. She is also an avid football supporter and watches matches both home and away.

Chris Barlow
Chris assists Mary Dixon and Chris Perry in the firm's criminal defence department and has years of experience as a police station accredited representative. He also has extensive experience dealing with the firm's wide ranging criminal cases at the Crown Courts, ensuring that the firm's clients understand the Court process from start to finish and that they obtain the best legal representation possible. Chris has a passion for cars, enjoys taking holidays, is a supporter of Ilkeston Town Football Club and has a keen interest in history. |

Becky Collier
Becky joined the firm in 2005 and has since become an Affiliate of the Institute of Legal Executives. Becky specialises in Family Law and has a particular interest in children act proceedings, divorce and financial matters; although she assists in all areas of family work. Becky lives locally and enjoys socialising with family and friends in her spare time.

Lauren Griffiths
Lauren joined the firm in 2002 and has since completed her training to become a Graduate of Institute of Legal Executives and will be entitled to be a Fellow of the Institute in November 2011. She specialises in criminal law and is currently undertaking her Police Station Accreditation. Lauren assists in all areas of criminal work including representation at the police station, preparation of Magistrates Court and Crown Court matters, and attendance at the Crown Court to assist Counsel.

Karen Perry
Karen joined Bryan and Armstrong in 1998 and has been a member of the criminal team since 1999. She has recently expanded her role as fee earning support to training as a police station representative, looking to qualify in the next few months. Karen will also continue to support the criminal Partners with preparation for trials and attending at Crown Court. In her spare time she enjoys working out at the gym, camping, organising fancy dress parties and generally chilling out with her husband and two teenage daughters.

Carol Errington
Accounts manager Carol assists the partners in the effective and efficient management of Bryan and Armstrong. Carol is a member of the Institute of Legal Cashiers and has successfully completed diplomas in Practice Management and Accounts. Carol is married with one son, she enjoys family holidays, socialising, Pilates and aerobics.
